My name is Patricia Ryan and I founded Crossroads to Care for those who are more comfortable with medical services provided in their home. I have experience as an adult nurse practitioner for 12 years. Originally, a RN graduate from New York City, I have received a Bachelors and Masters’ Degree. I moved to California 5 years ago, and have worked at Desert Regional Medical Center as the Neurology/Stroke Program coordinator for the Hospitalist group.
Prior to California, I had my own “house call” practice in Belfast, Maine. My nurse practitioner experience also includes, Emergency Department fast track provider, outpatient NP with a multi-provider clinic and my own practice. I was one of the founding members of the Bariatric Program in Kansas City working with a surgeon and dietician. I have extensive knowledge on care planning, policy, procedures and protocols.
I speak professionally on a number of health related topics and travel within the United States to lecture. In 2013, I received the Educator Award for my work with the American Heart Association.
